Our bunnies have had a tough start in life and we want them to find their forever homes. They are a long term commitment. They are not easy “starter” pets and have many social and physical needs including a healthy diet, lots of attention, and enrichment. Please read the care guides prior to adopting to assess whether a bunny is the right pet for you. Our care packet also has great information on rabbit care and determining if a rabbit is the right pet for you.
If a bunny is the right fit for you (or rather you are the right fit for a bunny), please fill out an application below and click submit. You can send images of your home setup to adoption@bunniesandbeyond.org. You can view our adoptable rabbits on Petfinder.
We are also very active in bunny speed-dating, for all those who already have a rabbit and are looking to find them a partner! The process is the same, where you fill out an adoption application and send it in. Mention you are looking to bond your rabbit with one of our adoptables, and an adoption counselor will schedule time for you to bring in your rabbit to meet a few eligible bachelors/bachelorettes.
Fees and Policies
Note that we require a pre-adoption and post-adoption home visit to ensure that your environment is rabbit-friendly. We vet our prospective adopters out well to ensure that all our rabbits go to great homes.
- Must be 21+. If you are under 21 years of age, a parent or guardian must complete this application.
- Adoption fee is $125 for a single rabbit and $200 for a bonded pair, paid upon adoption. It is nonrefundable.
- Unless otherwise noted, every rabbit is:
- Spayed or neutered (or scheduled if age-appropriate)
- Examined by a veterinarian
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
